National Hospital Abuja Celebrates World Pharmacists Day 2026

National Hospital Abuja joined the global community to celebrate World Pharmacists Day 2026 under the theme, “Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures.”

The Pharmacy Department marked the occasion with an educational seminar and health walk. The activities recognised the knowledge, dedication and compassion of pharmacists and highlighted their vital contribution to safe and effective patient care.

Pharmacists work closely with doctors, nurses and other members of the clinical team to support the safe selection, preparation and use of medicines. Their work helps patients understand their treatment and strengthens medication safety throughout the hospital.
