CIRCULAR

Sequel to the Corona Virus (COVID 19) pandemic worldwide, the Federal Government has put in place certain measures to control and prevent further spread of the dreaded disease.

The Federal Government emphasizes among other; avoidance of unnecessary crowds for whatever reason be it social, religious, political, cultural, educational or economic events.

In compliance with the FG’s directives and to ensure maximum protection against widespread of the virus, the Management of National Hospital Abuja has taken the following measures:

  1. Hospital visitation is now restricted to a maximum of two people between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.
  2. Only one patient’s relations will be allowed to be with the patient in the ward where necessary.
  3. Patients’ relations, staff, visitors and other stakeholders are enjoined to use the sanitizers placed in strategic locations in the hospital.
  4. Frontline officers are expected to use face masks and hand gloves in the course of carrying out their official duties.
